The first course in this series is "The Simplified Sporting Shoulder".

The Simplified Sporting Shoulder is a one day course focusing on both the theoretical and manual expertise required to work in both an elite sport and clinical environment. The course has a maximum of 12 attendees allowing for more focus on individual development and engagement.

09:30 - 13:00: Theory (Coffee Break 11:30- 11:45pm)

  • Subjective- Theory in detail
  • Assessment- Objective and Categories of Shoulders
  • Assessment- Different types of Labral Tears, Boney lesions, Fractures, Capsulitis, Cuff tears
  • Surgical Intervention Vs Conservative Management
  • When to refer and who to refer to

13:00 - 14:00: Lunch Break
14:00 - 16:30: Practical Assessment- Shoulder testing in detail covering the common and not so common shoulder traumas and pathologies. Handling techniques for specificity.
16:30 - 17:00: Overview and Summary, Questions.
